Staying at this homestay near Can Tho, in the heart of the Mekong Delta, was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. Nestled on a peaceful island surrounded by local life, this place offered us an unforgettable glimpse into the real Vietnam, far from the usual tourist trails.

From the moment we arrived, the homestay owners welcomed us with open arms. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine desire to share their culture made us feel like part of the family. They were eager to show us everything their beautiful island had to offer, and we learned so much, not just about the land, but about the people and their way of life.

We got to taste so many delicious local specialties, some of which we even prepared ourselves during a traditional cooking session with the local community. It was such a special moment, cooking together, sharing stories, and laughing in the kitchen.

One of the most memorable parts of our stay was a scooter tour through the area. Local guides showed us the real Mekong life, from the daily rituals of monks to the challenges farmers face due to climate change. We sipped the freshest coconut water, tasted sweet sugarcane straight from the field, and soaked in the beauty of the landscape...
