Chose this place as a stop between Hue and Hoi An and so happy we did. Was sad it was only for one night! Such a feel for the rural Vietnam and local hospitality. A family run place that sits right by the ocean. Not many people in the town know English, but you can get by with knowing a few things or pointing at the menu. You are near a strip of restaurants that line the beach with fresh seafood that you choose to have cooked. Or one of the first times I’ve seen, you can either use their kitchen, or have the grandma help you cook or if you’d rather, cook for you Vietnamese dishes with food fresh from the market down the road. We found this place by accident by following a road all the way to the beach. The hostel owner waved us in and showed us an upstairs room with balcony which overlooked the ocean. The beach is beautiful and quiet as it's off season. Went for an early morning walk and had the whole beach to myself - very relaxing. We had dinner and breakfast cooked in house. The room was amazing value for a beach front. Cheaper than anywhere we've seen in Vietnam. Would recommend for an authentic family run guest house. Make sure you get the upstairs...

Quan was very friendly and helpful and helped us integrate with the Vietnamese during our stay. The guesthouse was clean and nice, good value for a balcony room with a sea view. The food was also excellent and good value. We loved our stay in this little beach town and would definitely come back.
