Marissa Hotel & Spa Hai Tien — Hotel in Thanh Hoá Province

The Marissa hotel & Resort Hai Tien is a great new 4 star hotel. A beautiful safe beach is across the road and in the late afternoon many locals and hotel guests enjoy the warm gentle rolling waves. My room was on the 7th floor and like all the hotel rooms had a magnificent view of the 20 km coast line. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and buffet bar, as well as a gym, spa rooms and an indoor swimming pool. All the amenities l needed to have a luxurious relaxing holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with good ideas about things to do, places to go and the best transportation option to get there. The general manager was always on hand to make sure that everything ran smoothly and l had no problem talking to him and other staff because their English was so good. The weather was great with a lovely sea breeze cooling things down. The local people were warm and welcoming and street stalls had a good variety of fruit, seafood and drinks to choose from. A few years ago, I stayed at the "Marissa Hotel & Spa Hai Tien" during the low season to celebrate New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Unfortunately, the hotel was very quiet, and no services were available. However, I was able to relax in a very large and nice room and enjoy the breathtaking sea view, which was mesmerizing both during the day...

Nice staff, clean room, friendly environment. All spaces have ocean view. You can hear the waves. That appears to be an advantage, but actually, it shows a rude invasion of commerce into the territory of the sea. Just wish that people will plant more trees there to pay back...
