Despite reading reviews before booking, I wanted to experience this hotel for myself. While it wasn't a terrible experience, I feel it wasn’t worth the amount I paid. + Location: The hotel is far from the center of Vũng Tàu. GrabFood and ShopeeFood services are unavailable, leaving you with limited dining options—either the hotel’s restaurant or a Thai restaurant across the resort. Unfortunately, both are overpriced and the food was not good. + Facilities: The hotel’s interior is dull with no entertainment activities. The pool is large and spacious, but it felt gloomy as I visited on a rainy day. + Room: My room was beachfront, which might have been beautiful on a sunny day. However, during the stormy weather, the strong winds and crashing waves right by the door made it unsettling. + Buffet: The hotel’s buffet was disappointing. The food selection was minimal and didn’t justify the resort’s pricing. I don’t plan to return in the future.

This hotel is located on the side nearer to the sea and this offers a superb view for some of its room. Therefore, be sure to top up a little for the sea view instead of the garden view. Amenities are plentiful and the room booking usually includes Morning Breakfast as well. Pool and playground will be super attractive to children. Gym usage is minimal though it has most of the equipment in those normal gyms. The issue is this resort is a little distance away from the main seafood area, where there are many crowds. So if you prefer quiet and relaxing location, this is the best location. In summary, this is definitely a recommended resort if you wish to truly have a relaxing beach stay rather than staying in a conventional hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and the stay was fantastic. They gave us the best view in the hotel which in my opinion are rooms 1204 and 1206. They are adjoining 2nd floor rooms and they overlook a palm tree, then the freshwater pool, then the saltwater pool, then the ocean. I could have sat on the balcony and enjoyed that view all day. We also rented motorbikes that the hotel helped arrange for us, but don't attempt unless you're an experienced rider the city is busier than I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food and service at the buffet in the morning was excellent. The pool is clean and the staff work hard to keep the grounds looking great. Next time we are staying for at least week.

The environment is well laid out, space has been cleared from the sea so that the resort is directly next to the sea. It makes a very nice place to sit for drinks, or eat. However, it is not possible to go into the water, as there is no beach, The resort is situated about 1.5m above sea level. The style of the apartments is a kind of bungalow, but 2 stories high. I have not been in there, but from the outside it looks real nice. Privacy is not guaranteed, though, as the apartment blocks with the (small) terraces are built in-line and there is a long walk way around the apartments. All is situated in park-like surroundings. We, my wife and I, had a midday meal in the restaurant, air-conditioned. Everything is of high quality, beautiful materials, pleasing to the eye. Soft international music to create a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch was really good, top class, a real chef. Marine Bay advertises as a 5-star resort. The waiters/waittresses, however, were talking quite loudly, laughing, creating too much noise. My glass for drinks was served with ice, but had a piece broken off along tne rim, one must see that. I ordered sea bass with butter-lemon sauce, but recrived it with passion fruit sauce. No apology. Also, it took time and again an effort to draw the attention in order to have ice refilled, etc. In a 4-star 5-star environment the services must be totally unobtrusive for the guests, personell needs a professional education, which was missing here, though very friendly . All-in-all Marina Beach does not reserve more than 4 stars. It is w quite expensive, 4 to...

Do not stay in room 1114!

The room is infested with ants (photos attached) and the safe does not work!

We alerted the front desk to the ants on the desk under the tv. They tried using a cleaning spray on them but they came back shortly after.

The safe in the room is completely broken, after pressing one or two numbers the display flashes, beeps and resets. It is impossible to enter in a four digit code to lock it.

While the staff are very friendly and normally responsive we there was an instance where house cleaning did not come when asked.

We had some room service and after enjoying it was called to have the tray taken away. We left the room and four hours later we returned to the dirty plates and glasses still present. After calling a second time house cleaning did come, however they left a dirty glass! Both calls where made in Vietnamese by a native Viet so there is not language barrier.

The amenities are very nice and the hotel is located in a quite area on the coast a 10 minute drive from...
