Absolutely amazing place, outstanding staff, one of my all time favourite places travelling across south east asia.

Beautiful grounds with flora and fauna and small bridges over all the small ponds on the ground with lily pads and lotus' it's like out of a fairy tale.

The location is amazing absolutely stunning and the only tourists nearby are the ones in the lodge. All of the locals are so welcoming and beautiful people. You can have a bike for free for a few hours which was a nice touch also.

All of the staff are amazing and the best people. Shout out to Minh and Hon for making us always feel welcome and going above and beyond. We had a day trip with Minh and it was the best cultural trip i've ever had, so informative, relaxed and fun i felt like i learned a lot that day it was very thorough but relaxed and super organised with gorgeous company. The gardener even picked fruit from the grounds with us and talked us through all of the food growing on the grounds.

The food is really delicious and if you ask for veggie or vegan they will always accommodate. we highly recommenfd the veggie hot pot.

The rooms however are really comfortable but aesthetically quite basic and seem to be patchworked together a little mindlessly. It doesnt match the exterior, natural materials/considered design.

To conclude this place in general is outstanding, the kindness and warmth of the staff is like no other and we felt very safe and cared for here, especially when we had a day of illness here and were brought water and hotpots to bed by all...

Muong Dinh Lodge in Hau Giang is an ideal retreat for anyone seeking an escape after long, stressful days at work. Here, everything feels completely detached from the bustling world outside, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that recharges your energy and refreshes your spirit. The lodge is designed as a private oasis, with rooms nestled in a lush garden, connected by charming wooden bridges that add to its natural ambiance.

Each room has a spacious balcony in front, the perfect spot to relax, soak in the scenery, or spend quality time with loved ones amidst the tranquility of nature. My room had two beds, complete with essential amenities, and a spacious bathroom, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The lodge also offers a lovely restaurant by the canal, a massage and nail service, and free bicycles for exploring the surroundings. The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly, and the staff—especially Ben—is extremely helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything you need.

Although the road leading to the lodge is a bit narrow and deep within, it’s no challenge for adventurers like us who love exploring. Even though I only stayed one night, my experience at Muong Dinh Lodge was truly wonderful. It’s more than just a place to stay; it feels like a home away from home. This was a highlight of my 2 month stay in Vietnam. The property is absolutely gorgeous with lots of fruit trees and flowers. The staff are exceptional. They took care of organizing my travel there and on to my next stop. They even organized some additional travel. They could not to enough to make you feel take care of. The village is simply amazing. You see the realities of living on the river first hand. They have pedal bikes that you can use to bike around which is a must. Local are so happy to see you, they wave, say hello and on 3 separate occasions, I was given fruit to try. I did a couple of their tours which I loved as well. The on site food is delicious.
