Our family of four stayed here in Jul18. Its an absolute haven and by far our favourite place we have stayed during our 2 weeks of travel in Vietnam. The gardens are full of plants, fruits and vegetables all organically grown. They have chickens, turkeys, and other foul roaming the property, which entertained the kids. We relaxed as the kids explored the gardens, this being the only time we felt comfortable letting them out of our sight. The homestay has bikes that are free to use and although there are really no major sights to be seen in the local area, you can really get off track and see some real rural Vietnam this way. The accommodation is spacious, clean and tidy, with clean towels and basic bed linen. The hosts are amazing and go that extra mile to make you welcome, and help you with all travel arrangements. The owner speaks very good English and can take you on tours of the nearby Mekong, which was well worth it. The stay at this homestay made our trip to Vietnam. Highly recommend atleast two...
Read moreQuoc Phuong is by far our favourite homestay in Ben Tre. The location is fantatsic if you like cycling and the homestay has several bikes to choose from for free. The homestay itself is surrounded by greenery, with a lovely pool. There is plenty of seating, and hammocks too. The rooms are private, homely and comfoetable. The mosquitto nets work verh well, we didnt see as many mosquittos as we expexted. The cat and dogs was a great bonus. |The food is all homemade, delicious, and very reasonable pricing. We really enjoyed the homemade spring rolls, the shrimp dishes, and the fresh chilli's. |The owner offers a boat trip on the Mekong which we really enjoyed. |We enjoyed this homestay so much that we tried to extend but it was booked up, so we stayed somewhere else and went back when it was available, spending 9 nights there in total. It is a very homely place, with an incredible family and I can not rexomend it...
