The place has a great potential: nice beach, nice quiet location, nice bungalow (we got VIP one). The staff is also super friendly and they helped us with whatever we needed. We could buy fresh fish from the local fishermen and ask the hotel to grill it. Let’s start with what we didn’t like: the bungalow is full of mosquitoes to the point that you cannot enter the toilet without being literally assaulted but dozens of them. Also, when you are at the beach you get bitten by sand flies. Another big problem we had was communication in English. Though we were using google translate, we got few times wrong orders. Part of the staff speaks good English but somehow they are not the ones coming to get your order which leads often to misunderstandings. When we arrived we were the only guests and the staff couldn’t somehow organize properly even if only for us. They came to wake us up in the morning to make the room, when we told them the night before we would come later for breakfast. On our last day, there was no breakfast prepared, they offered us just noodle soup, which I know is traditional, but no so much for guests from Europe. Moreover, we had to pay for water we demanded, even tho, we should have our pre-payed breakfast.
