Lighthouse Resort — Hotel in Xã Tân Thành

Wonderful ! This was the first time in 7 years in Vietnam that we were truly, truly comfortable. We always wipe everything we can touch with wet tissues and alcohol (the light switches, the toilet seat, the lavabo and water tap, all surfaces of tables, chairs, night desks, desks, the remote controls for the airco and the tv, etc.), but here the tissues came away clean, has never happened before (except in expensive, 4-star, Western-run hotels). Very rare in Vietnam. The resort is situated on both sides of the road. The seaside-part has several “villas”, consisting of 4 separate rooms, 2 on the ground floor, 2 above these. There is a park all around where you can walk around, go to a coffee shop, or to the beach. The beach is quite small. From this area you can walk a path to the restaurant, very spacious, open, fresh air abundant. Top. The land-side part gives access to a swimming pool, a fishing pond, and a small pagoda. We had a room in the seaside-part. The bed was 100% comfortable, the mattress comparable to the one we have at home (western-style, thick and comfy). We had lunch and dinner 2 times in the restaurant, the chef is very good, the meals were very tasty. Next to the restaurant there is a garden with seats and tables, for drinks. Many trees, an airy and cool area. On the other side of the road did the fishing pond have a good quantity of fish. It is nice to be able to walk all around the ponds. Everything, everywhere, was clean, nowhere plastic bags, plastic coffee cups, etc. present. All-in-all a very good experience, the prices of the rooms are absolutely acceptable. I can totally recommend Ke Ga...

Beautiful location with great potential, the resort area is kept clean an nice so is pool and the beach in front of the resort, the rest of the beach is garbage dump likewise the rest of the whole area outside of the resort (as expected I guess). The rooms are clean but cell-like atmosphere with no bed lights or any other way than using your phone to get to your bed after switching of light. It is a shame since the potential is clearly there. The nearest other restaurants is in 20+ min walking distance and no stores available without a taxi. No bar to serve you a nice drink, but you can by beer at the ok but mediocre resort restaurant. The whole area seem to be abandoned by tourist, very few guest at the few resorts that is still open, deserted and unfinished...

quản cáo sai sự thật, mình đặt phòng có ban công, nhưng khi tới nơi thì tiếp Tân ks nói phòng này không ban công, vấn đề là do bên Agoda, còn chúng tôi thì không biết dù mình đã đưa ra chứng cứ là trên quảng cáo có ghi rõ là phòng có ban công. Sau 1 hồi tranh luận, 2 ban tiếp Tân đuối ý thì bên tiếp tân đã gọi cho 1 bạn sale xuống giải thích và đàm phán với bên mình là hiện tại ks hết phòng có ban công, kêu mình ở tạm phòng không có ban công và giảm giá tiền phòng cho mình, thế là mình chấp nhận. Và mình cũng tính cho qua chuyện này, nhưng không đến ngày mình trả phòng, vào sáng sớm tầm 7h ks không biết vô tình hay cố ý đã cúp toàn bộ điện phòng mình cho đến lúc 12h trưa mình trả phòng, như là có ý đinh buộc mình trả phòng sớm, dù là mình đã gọi cho ks báo là phòng mình mất điện và nhận được câu trả lời là nhân viên đang đi mua dầu mặc dù có 1 trạm xăng dầu cách ks tầm 5 phút. Và mình đã trong tình trạng mất điện 1 buổi sáng.Vì thế, mình có thể suy luận từ việc làm này là có nhủ ý và kg biết nhằm mục đích gì. Thật là 1 trải nghiệm tệ, nên mình nghĩ nên chia sẻ kinh nghiệm với những bạn có ý định ở ks này： 1 là nên chụp màn hình lại loại phòng, các dịch vụ kèm theo khi bạn đặt phòng ks này trên Agoda hay booking.com, lỡ may khi đến ks chối bỏ loại phòng họ quản cáo thì bạn vẫn còn chứng cứ mà tranh luận với họ. Và điều thứ hai, bạn nên mang theo pin dự phòng và 1 cây quạt mini, vì bạn cũng có thể là người tiếp theo được trải nghiệm sống trong bóng tối giống mình. Phòng thì cũng tàm tạm, và có mùi rất nặng, nói chung cũng không tương xứng với số...
