This place is still very disorganized. From the moment we arrived, the "security guard" didn't know where to point us or where we should check in. He was clueless. Afterward, when going to the restaurant for lunch, the staff there made us wait while checking in on our reservation.
At the "swimming pool," some genius decided to put boulders in the middle of the pool that had jagged edges. My son and another friend's child got scratched and was crying. The "security" at the pool just said, "I told you so," when I asked him why he didn't do anything to help my son. Afterward, he just lit up a cigarette in the shade without a care in the world. All this while my son is crying while we're looking for bandaid and first aid kit. You can see in the pictures of the pool, the scratches, the sharp edges of the boulders, and in the background, the security guy is smoking.
The beach was clean on the first day, but dirty with trash bag the next. My son found an old squidding lamp floating in the water. At least the beach security guard was more aware and attentive to tell us where to swim to avoid the jellyfish.
Foodwise, it is overall tasty, but the presentation doesn't look good. At dinner, the staff was pestering us to give them a good Google review and to check in. There is a time and place for reviews. Pestering for reviews during dinner time, need some revision on manner.
Kid friendly? This is still questionable considering hazards and un-attentive staff. Peace and quiet rest, this is definitely not with all the big groups cheering with their drinking in the evening, while bright and early, 4:30am noise from motor bikes entering the camp ground, 6am the maintenance crew turns on the leaf blowers at high speed to let everyone know that they're working hard. 6:30am EDM music is blasted as a waking up call to the entire grounds.
If you're a company group outing, this would fit the business...
Read moreAs a non-resident of Vietnam, the resort presented a mixed experience, with the accommodations proving particularly problematic. The room's condition was significantly substandard, characterized by a pervasive musty odor, visible black mold, and extensive staining throughout, notably on the curtains and bed frame. The presence of insects was also a concern. Furthermore, the room's environment was negatively impacted by excessive noise from resort events and other guests, coupled with inadequate lighting. Water leakage from the ceiling and walls during rainfall further exacerbated the room's deficiencies.
The dining experience was inconsistent. While some dishes were of high quality, a majority were considered basic and unremarkable, despite being part of a comprehensive package.
The resort's activities were well-suited for children and young adolescents. However, the bar's operational status was unreliable upon arrival, and when open, the beverage selection was limited, primarily offering pressed juices rather than a variety of alcoholic beverages.
The customer service provided was excellent, and we have no negative feedback to offer.
Additionally, we would like to inquire about the on-site canine; we are uncertain whether it is a resident or a guest, but it is exceptionally friendly and well-behaved.
Considering the expenditure associated with this resort, we should explore alternative options that potentially offer a superior level of quality.
The resort's marketing and services appear to be primarily directed toward Vietnamese clientele rather than Western visitors.
While the value proposition may not have fully aligned with expectations, the experience offered a pleasant respite, providing an enjoyable escape from the urban...
Read moreFun place for the family. We booked 3 bungalows at this place. We arrived around 1pm but the rooms were not ready for us yet. We can however can use the facility while waiting. The young kids loved the fishing, slide, and animals feeding. They didn’t like the zip lining and the water floating course too much. Once they fall into the water that’s it. It’s impossible for them to get back up. Two of our kids cried a bunch since they fell down in the crevices and took me a few minutes to help them up. No worker around to help. Fishing was fun for about 10 minutes and then it’s pretty boring because the fish doesn’t bite.
There is a cool water catapult but there is no way to use it since there is no way to jump on the other end to launch the person sitting on the other side.
The kayak and bikes are fun too. Bike is nice to get around the site but costs some money.
Older kids have the zip lining, pickleball, and archery, but not enough to keep them entertained for two days. They got bored after a few hours of exploring.
Food was decent with a few varieties of traditional Vietnamese food. There is a few golf carts driving around to take you from place to place which is nice during the day since it’s very hot. We got caught up in the rain both day so our time was shortened a little.
Overall, the site has a bit of everything for everyone. However, not enough to keep everyone entertained for more than a day. Some upkeep needs to happen to all the rooms and more guided activities needed to keep guests enjoy...
