We stayed here during a very low season (we're pretty much the only guests there!) so this review will reflect that as well. Things might be different during high season.||Pros:|- the staff is very polite and helpful. The receptionist helped me with various things from booking a motorbike to travel around to suggesting activities. |- the food in their restaurant is delicious, although on the expensive side. Loved the seafood dishes |- room is spacious, has a nice ocean view, furnitures look new |- amazing sunrise can be seen from the balcony |- the beach is right nearby and it's very interesting (you can sometimes see crabs crawling around) but also a bit dirty and the waves are really strong |- it's quite near Ke Ga lighthouse which is a nice spot to visit, you can rent a bike to go there ||Cons:|- it's very minimal, the whole place consists of a restaurant, rooms, a swimming pool, a beach, and that's it. No other services/facilities in the vicinity. There are a few restaurants a few km away but if you want to buy or do anything, you have to travel to the city center which is 20km+ away. |- the cleanliness is really not up to standard. I wouldn't call it unliveable, but do expect mysterious stains on the sheets, towels, armchairs etc. The swimming pool looks dirty too.|- the staff all leave in the evening except for the security guard. They were a bit unwilling to serve dinner because they had to go back so they suggested us eating outside instead. I guess it's understandable since we're the only guests there, but hopefully they wouldn't do that in busy seasons|All in all: it's OK but they do have a lot to improve on so they can have more...
Read moreThere are several reasons why should you not go to this resort (btw I don't understand why this place is called a resort!!!)||||- The beach and the swimming pool was dirty and there's trash everywhere||- The quality of the bed was poor and the WI-FI was very slow||- Reception opened until 10 PM only||- The nearest store is like 20km away in the city of Phan Thiet ||- There were no elevators to take guests to the floors||||FOOD:||The worst thing about this so-called resort is the food. On the website, it said that their breakfast would be open at 6:30. When I got down, they wouldn't let us in at 7:10, then we had to wait for 20 until the first food was brought in. They said that there was some delay and the food would be out very shortly, SHORTLY. And that took 20 minutes. My tour was late, we didn't have enough food because there were so many people there and there were not sufficient chairs either. There were FLIES and MOSQUITOS everywhere!!! I have been to many resorts in VN, even in Phan Thiet itself, but I have never seen a resort that was crawling with these creatures, and they were all over the foods too. They served frozen coffee and a so-called strawberry juice but which was concentrated syrup mixed with water. The night before that, I went downstairs at around 9 PM to order some food but the receptionists said that the restaurant was closed :(. ||||There are better hotels that are nearby too, so you guys should consider the alternations. The price is too high compared to what I paid for. Very disappointed, never return AGAIN!!!!||||PS: The security guards were actually really attentive and helpful, they...
Read moreThis resort has so much potential if it was taken proper care of and some creativity with service for guests could have been applied to make the place truly attractive. We are used to clean facilities anywhere we stay. Vietnam in general is struggling to learn about standards of cleanliness appropriate for westerners. So there are dirty floors, windows, furniture, tables in the restaurant and beaches with trash all over. We were quite irritated to find so many things in bad condition simply because they were not clean. It was very strange to see so many people on staff that had no clue what to do at the hotel. They were just wondering around while the hotel screamed to get washed and straitened up. I really wished I brought some sort of cleaner with me to wash the shower glass and windows in our rooms. Obviously the staff needs pointing out the dirty places in the room because they never touch them to clean. ||Otherwise the place is extremely relaxing. The furniture design is minimalistic and modern. The reastaurant food was much better quality than in our previous place of stay in Vietnam. Beautiful long beach with a fantastic view of the ocean. ||||The hotel could offer a spa or some activities for guests to attract more people. Tourist service is overall of a low quality in Vietnam, they yet need to tackle this business of hospitality if they wish to bring money into...
