Homstay Mường Lò Corner Tắm Khoáng Nóng — Hotel in Yên Bái Province

Thuat and his family have welcomed me for 8 days and 8 nights in their guesthouse named Muong Lo Corner and located in Ban Hoc, very known for its thermal natural baths. Thanks to them my stay here was amazing and I have discovered how this nice Vietnamese family were living in the coutryside at 5 hours of bus from Hanoi (full confort bus, cheap and easy to find).

My stay was during October 2019 and the weather was quite warm (30 in the day and 24 in the night) and I got only sun here. Thuat's house is very beautiful. He has just renovated it the year in 2018 and everything was very clean and well arranged and designed.

I do not find the right words to describe the food so much delicious and diversified. Each meal was the opportunity to try something new ! There were meat of course but if you are vegetarian or vegan do not worry they cook a ton of vegetables, beans and tofu. It is a veggie friendly environment ! To the meat lovers : you will not be outdone and you will get the opportunity to eat some at each meal cooked in uncountable ways. Porc, chicken, and other surprises ;)

About the night and the sleep (very important as for me) I can garantee you will feel in a cocoon here. The beds are huge and all equiped with mosquito net. Fans are available if needed but I slept very well without using them. My best nights in Vietnam were definitively at Muong Lo Corner. The bathrooms are new too (2 bathrooms, 2 toilets) and very clean.

To conclude I absolutely recommend you to stay few days here to discover all the area (ton of things to visit : several centuries old tea tree forest , tea village, Hmong villages, huge community houses very typical of Vietnam, highest waterfall of Viet Nam, several hiking paths in the mountains, several motorbikes loop to enjoy).
