Om Tara Retreat — Hotel in Yên Bái Province

I had the pleasure of staying at Om Tara Retreat in Vietnam during a Yoganidra Teacher Training course with Swamiji Yogaratna and Mangala, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds of Om Tara, I was struck by the beauty of the place. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and nestled in the rolling hills of Vietnam, Om Tara was an oasis of calm and tranquility.

The accommodations at Om Tara were nothing short of stunning. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. But what really set Om Tara apart was the attention to detail. Every aspect of the retreat was carefully thought out, from the organic meals, making it clear that the staff truly cares about their guests' well-being.

But it wasn't just the physical space that made my experience at Om Tara so special.

Overall, my stay at Om Tara Retreat was an absolutely wonderful experience. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating escape from the stresses of daily life. I would definitely go back and stay at Om Tara again in the future, and I encourage others to check it out...

We were already 4th day of our travel by bike when we decided to stay here for a night. First surprise was BBQ dinner, when we were served in separate garden house. They prepared everything for BBQ, and you can cook by your own or they do. Very good diner we had. Next day with sunlight the place turned out very silent, nature and cozy that we decided to stay here for full day unlike other places where we stayed only one night. Mình mới ghé Om Tara lễ Quốc Khánh vừa rồi: Về phòng thì mình đặt hạng phòng rẻ nhất nên không kỳ vọng quá nhiều, phòng có hơi nóng do là gian áp mái và không có tivi, tủ lạnh mini, về decor khá sáng tạo. Phục vụ: người ta nói mến nhau ở con người chứ không phải ở cái gì khác, cũng đúng. Con người ở Om Tara cực kỳ dễ mến và hiếu khách, họ k phàn nàn hay khó chịu với những complain của khách, mà rất chăm chỉ hoàn thành luôn và ngay, dù mình có xin dép đi trong phòng họ gửi mình 3 đôi mới đánh xong còn ướt, khác kiểu dáng khác màu mà cũng thấy vui nữa vì họ cười đáng mến lắm. Lúc ấy lại thấy có lỗi vì đã cáu. Về đồ ăn: toàn bộ đều là thực phẩm địa phương hoặc họ tự trồng tự nuôi nên rất ngon, món gì cũng ngon hết. Có workshop bánh gai nên bữa sáng sẽ có bánh gai miễn phí tặng khách. Cảnh quan rất đẹp và yên bình, từ trung tâm thành phố đi vào không quá xa, chỉ tầm 6km, dễ tìm đường lắm.
