I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and had a comfortable overnight stay. My air-conditioned, clean room had a medium-soft, comfortable bed (5 out of 10 on the firmness scale), a small fridge, a flatscreen TV (I think it had the YouTube app), a wall mounted fan, some basic furniture & equipment (kettle & hair dryer) and a private, clean bathroom, spacious in size and providing good hot water (via a storage system). WIFI is also freely available with a good, constant connection throughout the hotel. The hotel boasts a few different styles of rooms, a secure, undercover parking garage, a large reception area, and an elevator to access the levels. The staff I encountered were friendly and enthusiastic, and I was escorted to my room. The hotel is not conveniently located near the central townsite, and you will need transport to get there, but the trade-off is that its surrounding areas are quiet and peaceful. There's a delightful cafe next door (Neshi) that provides many tea, coffee, and juice beverages, and can even supply meals. However, these meals are not cooked on site but rather supplied from elsewhere and only delivered...

Stayed here overnight on my way back to Hanoi from Sapa. I was very happy with the service and the staff were super friendly. They even invited me to have dinner and drinks with them and it was such a good time. I would definitely use this as a place for layover. The location is perfect as you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the town and irrs very relaxing.

The room is clean, the bed is super comfortable and soft, the AC and the fan works super well. Has funky led lights in the ceiling. I made a few friends there overnight and I would go back to meet these people.

Thank you to the staff for making me feel...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at River Town for just $9 a night! The place was incredibly clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The ability to watch the Euro games added an extra layer of enjoyment. I also appreciated the availability of snacks and beverages for just a few extra cents. The service was exceptionally friendly, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, with a nice café nearby and an amazing forest view that provided a peaceful ambiance. It's unbelievable that all of this comes for just $9 a night—truly an excellent value that exceeded all my...

Stayed here overnight on our way to Sapa. The hotel is in front of a river and close by the town center. It's a big hotel equipped with an elevator. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. There's a fridge and snacks for purchase inside the room, water is complimentary. The bathroom was large and there's water heater. Great value for all the amenities included. The male staff was very accommodating. He was a life saver, giving us bungee cords for free but we insisted to pay for it. He has the most genuine smile and always ready to help.

How can you go wrong for under 200k VND ($10 AUD). The room had a comfy bed, tv, fridge, and seperate seating area. We arranged a room either no window as this was just a quick stop over trip so not looking for any luxury. It is a bit out of the main town, on a river that doesn’t really flow. Staff were respectful and accommodating to any requests. Great value for the price we paid, this was clearly a classy hotel in its gay day. Only comment would be that the walls could be cleaned and a better shower head would make it better.
