Pizo Lodge — Hotel in Central Province

If I could give 0 stars for a review I would. Despite my emphasis on the need for air conditioning before my visit, we were given a room with a faulty air conditioning unit and when the staff was informed, they acted nonchalant and irritated as though we were bothering them. They refused to transfer us to another room with the only reason being that we already walked into the room. When asked for a manager we could negotiate with the staff was uncooperative and acted as though he didn't hear the request.

The geyser was not working and when we enuired they assured us it would work but thay never happened.

The room also had water leaking in from the bathroom.

I was, and still disappointed that such a good looking environment can have very pathetic bathrooms for people having conferences or attending workshops. The bathrooms have no running water, and this is a place with more than 200 people attending various workshops. The structure of the bathroom is a mess. The female and male section is divided by a thin piece of cardboard. We can literally hear what's going on in the other side. People standing outside can literally see what's going on in the bathrooms. Everything about those bathrooms is ridiculous, ridiculous of the highest order. Very Very Horrible Stay with Rude Unprofessional Staff. We paid K1000 for 2 nights but had no choice and had to leave within 24 hrs. The silly system to waste water to wash cars that are parked at the Premises and not cater to needs of the Guests staying was very annoying. Very unplanned as each problem you have to walk to the Reception which is at the Entrance n rooms right behind.
