Fatmols City Hotels — Hotel in Copperbelt Province

We arrived at the lodge on thursday 21st August 2014 and the front office ladies welcomed us very well. We were delegates for the district convention of Jehovah's witnesses being held and Levy Mwanawasa staduim during that period. The room we were given was very spacoius and very nice. unfortunately it ends there.||||I went to take a shower, the water was not draining-it was blocked. i completed my shower anyway. We called the front office preson to fix and he could not manage. We ordered Dinner at 18hrs, only to be ready at 21hrs. In the morning as we prepared to go for our first day of the convention, we tried the shower there was no water and ended up goint without bathing.||||All the 3 nights that we booked at the lodge water problems were common and dinner was most often late.||||We however appreciate the effort the stuff was putting up to ensure we were saved. perhaps they were overwelmed with the croud as the lodge was fully booked. The lodge should look at increasing the size of the water tank and improve periodic maintenance...

I stayed at Fatmols Lodge while on a business trip in August. The hotel is located in a good area, and the lodge manager was kind enough to pick me up from the airport. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful (the only front desk staff that was very useful). The room was quite spacious and the bathroom had a great shower head and great pressure. TV channels not very useful (in as much as they have cable TV) and choice of channels is controlled by the reception. The bed is comfortable, and the room is clean.||||Breakfast could be a lot better. They only serve coffee/tea white bread and cornflakes, and if you need something more e.g. eggs, you pay more for this. Accommodation is pricey and honestly, the lodge could provide better breakfast. However, I really applaud the lodge manager. He was very helpful and even organised for a special breakfast for me (I am on a special diet), so kudos to the lodge manager, he is really helpful...

don't even think about it. rooms were sub par, no mosquito net, door had a gap so bugs and other crawling things came in, shower was either scalding hot or cold with a great view of the outside (the shower pipe and the outer bathroom wall did not meet), it doesn't look like the curtains had ever been moved/cleaned. some rooms had no toilet seats and just pipes coming out of the wall as the shower. impressive menu but they didn't have hardly anything...
