This hotel is very fake. They have a pool that is available for most of the week but has mold in it. The 1st day we got here and looked at it they said it would be cleaned tomorrow morning. Two days later it's still moldy and hasn't been cleaned. A/C is oddly available at 10:20 PM... almost like they're restricting times for it. There's no wifi in the room and we are always told what we want to hear. The manager will be here in a couple hours. The manager is going to be here tonight. The manager isn't in today but will be here tomorrow morning. Then they said there's no laundry service on Sunday but they'd take the clothes for Monday. When we asked for them back Sunday afternoon they said they were drying and we could pick them up later. They also said that they couldn't tell me how much it would cost until after the laundry service was done. They rush to help or seem helpful but looking back it doesn't seem genuine...Oh and we got bed bugs from the stay. Just peachy.

Moba hotel was a cost effective option, compared to Garden Court. It is clean and the food is basic, but good. The room had a few flaws, like the shower door that was sticking and leaking. The bed was rock hard. I folded the duvet in half to sleep on, just to get some padding. A proper mattress will be great. The hotel is not dealing well with loadshedding. No emergency lighting available and the back up generator was not working for 2 consecutive nights. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Where should I start? The location is easily accessible, but aside from that, the facility requires significant upkeep. Most of the staff need mentoring or retraining on how to interact with customers. Meals take far too long to arrive, and the staff rarely apologize for the delays. Unless you’re constantly on your toes, nothing seems to get done

Comically bad.

Beds were falling apart. Electrical connections were unsafe (spliced with electrical tape, no back on a plug). Lock on bathroom door didn't work and room mate got locked in. The fridge was hooked up to the card key slot so turned off when you left the room - nothing would be kept cold. The food in the restaurant took up to an hour to come out and there's a 50/50 chance that it would be cold. Breakfast buffet was stone cold. Toast was ordered - it arrived 20 minutes later, cold. Steak was either blue or well done. Many things on the menu were not available. Bar tenders took 5 minutes to open the beers, and once forgot to and just walked away. They never had any change behind the bar. The pool table was not level and had a big ridge running down the center. The TV in the room went from mute at 0% sound to "bleeding ears" volume at 1%. House service started coming round at 8 am despite breakfast not finishing until 10 am. The floor was constantly being mopped. The internet was OK unless more than 5 people were staying, at which point it fell over. After a week it kicked us off for having too many sessions and the staff couldn't do anything about it. Key card stopped working.

The new outside bar...

I stayed a week for just under K1000 a day including breakfast. Upon arrival there was a nasty smell. WiFi only works erratic in lobby area. Beds are beyond repair. Tattered and coarse towels, sheets with holes. The electrical wiring is nothing but dangerous. Mosquito screens either gone or ripped. In Highway bar breakfast toast is made on the floor. Virtually no stock on anything. When ordering a meal after 7h30 not much but steak available. Always a shortage of change which I suspect is planned. Staff friendly, but not trained and overworked. This hotel should have no star and it not worth paying anything more than K400 a night. It is also out of town meaning that without transport you are stuck in a surreal setting belonging in a Tarantino or David Lynch movie. Don't go there, many better places in town at...
