We stayed a Njele Country Park June 1-10. It was our first time there but will probably stay there again. It's located on a very busy highway (the marker on the map is in the wrong place) but it doesn't feel like it once you pass through the gates. It's very green and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, they keep it well watered even in the dry season. ||||The staff was outstanding. They were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The did whatever they could to make our stay very pleasant. ||||The rooms were very clean. We had a group of people, so we occupied chalet rooms and non-chalet rooms. The non-chalet rooms were much smaller but singles stayed in those rooms. The chalet rooms are very large, king-size bed, shower, and bathtub. The chalet rooms are a little dark because of the low overhang roofs, but it isn't unusual for African interiors. We had plenty of water (hot and cold), although the showers didn't always have good pressure. The rooms do have wi-fi - although it was very weak much of the time.||||The food in the dining room was very good. They cooked some local favorites (shema) but catered to our...

Visited the place on a 2 nights out in middle May. We were welcome well by the receptionist and directed to the room having made a reservation earlier in the week. The staff are very friendly and are doing their best to serve customers.

Room are very spacious, they surely could have made better use of the space. The ventilation is good only natural lighting is not sufficient. You literally have to use artificial lighting throughout the day. Rooms are fairly clean and all amenities are in good working order.

Their meals are ok. Full English breakfast included in room rate. We would have loved more fruits on the menu even at an extra charge. We ordered fruit salad but they could not make it as they had run out of fruits at the time.

The overall service is average but they can improve if the y are open to suggestions. Follow me for...

The ambience was really good. I really loved the landscaping. A lot of thought went into it. The interior decor however lacked. The same inspiration that was used outside was not used on the inside. The rooms are quite spacious and so are the bathroom. The cleaners generally did an okay job but lacked attention to details. In two of my friends rooms the sheets were not changed and the beds were spread anyway. The sheets were changed after we complained. In my room our tea things were never washed or replenished. On the food side of things we only had one meal there and decided to eat out there after. They were able to provide an extra mattress for the kids for an extra charge as they have no family rooms

We found this place by chance when we found ourselves in Ndola and needed a hotel room for the night. We loved the place and were very comfortable staying here. We found the grass roof cottages have interiors equal to what you would expect in a hotel room— aircon, mosquito nets, shower as well as tub, fridge, coffee maker, comfortable bed and clean! The gardens and grounds are beautiful and the food was good too. We had a nice dinner as well as the breakfast (which is included in the price of the room) and the cost of everything was very reasonable… (cost about half what we paid elsewhere).
