Nyamfinzi Hotel — Hotel in Eastern Province

Had a workshop here so il start with that aspect. The sound from the pa was not consistent and often cut off speakers, the service was well average i guess no real complaints though and the WiFi was terrible, they cant seem to host mulitple events as meal times are extremely delayed and lack of multiple serving points delayed participants. Now to the positives, the place is conveniently locked, its less that 15min walk to cbd located in an area with great mountain views. The rooms are excellent befitting status of a hotel, the bar is well stocked with both the percentage stuff and kama normal drinks, the breakfast is amazing best to experience it. The room have everything you need and as standard all is provided in the room. The shower was amazing longest shower ever 😀. I will definitely be visiting the hotel for a nights stay next time...

Stayed here with a bunch of my friends and family that came in the country to visit. It was super super pretty hotel buuuuuttt our bed felt like a brick. It was hard as concrete. Then my sister's room flooded. Then my other sister's room had no remote for the TV which they never brought. Chipata is growing of course... So we noticed there werent that many restaurants that could cater to a group of 23 people. So we decided to ask for a BBQ at the place however, instead of BBQ our meat they grilled the meat which tasted absolutely bland and horrible. No one enjoyed their meal despite offering ourselves to help BBQ because we were seated by the pool. The food was also super super slow.i think they need to work on their restaurant and the food they serve. So bland lacking all...

The receptionist was very kind and had enough information about the place however the restaurant waitress had an unwelcoming approach, food took over 50mins after bein told it will take 30mins ..no follow up was done to advise the delay on a bread roll was brought 35mins into the wait and still with no explanation. . The steak ordered was dry the waitress didn't ask how It should be done if welldone or rare... the chicken schnitzel was also dry. .the table we sat on and other tables were not fully set-up and the salt shakers where dirty ... among other things... I would advise they seriously consider paying attention to...
