GENESIS BOUTIQUE HOTEL — Hotel in Lusaka Province

Ok place to stay for one night on the way. Place has a lot of potential, but feels unfinished. We took the more expensive rooms that were renovated. Rooms itself were ok, but lacking few things. We did no have bin, no drinking water, no shampoos (only one piece of soap), beds were quite hard, missing maybe some top mattresses, pillows were quite huge, tv had package plastics still on and we only had one set of towels in 2person room. Restaurant again looked really nice, we only had breakfast. But the service was super slow and food was average. Staff in general were not the best at customer service, but ok friendly. With a little effort on customer service and adding the general hotel stuff to rooms, then would be great place! But have to say that hotel in this condition vs. the room prizes...

Its the opposite of "What you see is what you get" phrase. Very clean environment and rooms. Very calm yet arrogant receptionist, gave me a room without warm water in a cold season even after pleading with her that i really needed a bath...

No tea making facility, no breakfast so prepare in advance if you intend to go there. Some pillows without cases in room.

Overall the owner knows what he want...but the maintenance team and the receptionist seem no to see the vision...

Last night to this morning was waste for me as this is when i have reached where i can now take a shower....

The place is conductive for all occasions. Rooms are well designed for any private activity. For instance book writers will carry their activities with less disturbances. There need to improve on music. Being used by different people with different activities soft music will be preferable. In nutshell there is must to benefit which include service from well presentable staffs. To prove me wrong try to pay them a visit and you will conquer with me.
