Kasaka River Lodge — Hotel in Lusaka Province

Kasaka River Lodge in Lower Zambezi offers a unique blend of comfort and wilderness. With two swimming pools, 8 self-contained tents, and a family house, the lodge is well-equipped for guests. Visited Kasaka as part of a group. The trip was organized by a tour company which handled all our logistics.

Kasaka is a beautiful lodge overlooking the Zambezi; hippos are a constant sound that you will hear throughout your stay. At night, little frogs have a tendency of just appearing about anywhere especially the shower and toilets.

We had a couple of visits from monkeys in the lounge!

Also, there was no Mobile network and WiFi at the time...

We stayed in a tented chalet. The shade net on the windows of the tent was torn. Some of our friends beds got wet when there was a rain storm the one day. They have open bathrooms so when it rained you couldn't use it. You can't leave toiletries in the bathroom because of the monkeys.
