WOWZERS!! What an incredible experience, immpecible clean & comfortable accommodations, delicious food and ABOVE ALL wonderful service! All of the staff members from guides to the bar & servers, management & chefs! They were all so warm, welcoming & always asking if we needed anything! Top notch hospitality staff!

Now let's talk excursions! We did a full day safari which started with a beautiful sunrise boat ride up the Zambezi river, thank you James, (our river guide).. a delicious breakfast on the bank with the morning serenade of hippos, birds & a nice breeze. Now ready to see the wildlife! Richard, our land guide & James his co pilot did a fantastic job at not only spotting the animals but sharing their knowledge of each of them. We were so excited to see many prides of elephants & 7 lions, the pods of hippos, worthogs, the solo buffaloes & crocs, exotic birds and even a wild dog (we were told that seeing a wild dog was extremely rare) and what felt like thousands of gazelles dancing about all around.

We did a few other excursion as well, a canoe ride down the river, a sunset cruise and relaxed at the lodge ... all so wonderful & exciting!

Our eyes and hearts were in awe of the beauty of this place & the people who welcomed us into it. An unforgetable adventure & memories of a lifetime! Thank you Kiambi, all staff & all of our guides for keeping us comfortable and safe- definitely be...

Such a wonderful experience here. We were picked up from lusaka by their driver, the last bit of the journey was slightly bumpy..but that's nothing that can be helped. We were welcomed so warmly by the staff and they gave us a rundown of the actives. We stayed in one of the lodges for a night...that was so nice, really comfy beds. We then spent two nights in thr tents and honestly it felt so homely and again just lovely..plus the views were incredible.

The actives were great, sunset cruise is a must for sure. We weren't that keen on the 3 hour canoeing trip as the winds were strong and felt a little uneasy in the boats, im sure on calmer days it would be have lovely. The safari was incredible We saw so many of the animals up close, it is a very long day though so be prepared for that. The staff were hands down the most accommodating people ever, nothing was to big of an ask. They were truly the best and made our trip so wonderful. So a massive thanks to them. A special thanks to the chef...can not describe how good the food was, even as a vegetarian he made the most incredible food. Thank you to thr team here, it's been a amazing and very...

Kiambi is beautiful. This is where Kafue meets Zambezi. The sunsets are amazing and the view is therapeutic. We stayed in the self catering chalet bungalow as a party of 8. 4 adults and 4 kids. The chalet was quite impressive because it was equipped with anything you can think of for self catering. Fridge freezer, cutlery, pots and pans of different sizes and knives which actually cut 👍🏽👍🏽. The place is terribly warm and on the first day we had a high of 41°C so although there were fans in every room, it did little to help.

The staff were friendly and quick to help at any turn. Enjoyed a boat cruise in one of their beautiful speed boats with Stewart and saw many hippos and buffalo and crocs. Only had one group meal at the lodge and it was delicious. I was not impressed that the meals with chips came with neither salad, vegetable nor sauce. I’d also suggest upping their game on the deco. Overal, I enjoyed my stay at Kiambi and will try their luxury rooms...

There is not a single negative thing to say about this hidden gem. We were blown away by our recent visit: my wife, our five year old son, and I all had the time of our lives (despite catching no tiger fish due to planning our trip during the wrong season). All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going the extra step at any opportunity. The food was incredible, and Chef was willing to accommodate dietary restrictions and picky five year olds alike. The view is breathtaking. I would also like to call out Richard, for being a phenomenal (and patient) river guide. We spent the better part of three days with him on the boat, and he showed us pretty much every species that lives on the Lower Zambezi. If the sheer exhilaration we felt when we got just a few nibbles from the tiger fish wasn’t enough to call us back to Kiambi…everything else the staff and lodge offers surely is.
