I recently visited the Lusaka Legacy Resort for an end-of-year event. I found it to be a delightful escape from the noise and chaos of the city. Although the resort is a bit far from the city centre, the approach is via a gravel road. However, the inconveniences can't be compared to the peace and beauty the place offers.
The location of the resort is its standout feature. It is hidden away on a hill and has a peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for people who want to escape the noise of the city. From this vantage point, the views are stunning, especially the beautiful scenery that can be seen from different parts of the place.
The accommodation at the resort is impressive. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished. Of particular note are the luxurious shower and bathtub, which add a touch of indulgence to your stay. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the rooms. Still, the comfort and aesthetics of the room certainly left a lasting impression. And the roofing is of Zambian tradition, which is a plus.
One of the highlights was the infinity pool. Although relatively small, it is exquisitely designed and provides a relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
To summarise, Lusaka Legacy Resort is a beautiful, peaceful retreat, ideal for those seeking a break from city life. Its natural beauty, comfortable accommodation, and thoughtful amenities make it a highly recommended destination."
A minus for me was the lunch. The breakfast was great, and I can't complain, but the lunch didn't have many options, and it lacked staff. With the number of people who come to the place, it will be better to have more kitchen staff.
The dinner and breakfast was excellent, with a significant...
Read moreThe Resort is a serene/off-grid place that is perfect for a retreat away from the hassle and basle of the greater City. The conferencing rooms and services are fit for considerable delegations and because of the seclusion of resort great for highly productive sessions vis a vis brainstorming and high output workshops. The accommodation is of good quality standard with no in room tv's, one can take advantage and carry that book on their reading list to make use of the quiet time. The Pool and the Mini-Gym make for good exercise and relaxation. The food, especially breakfast is okay, the staff specifically the female are polite and helpful, I had a challenge with a couple of male staff at the restaurant specifically, they just couldn't be bothered whether they attend to you, as though their is something more important than the guest being served...Overall it was a good experience. N.B The Road that leads to the Resort is gravel but seems recently graded, dusty but passable even...
Read moreSerene Hill Top. Legacy Resort is a quiet out of the way resort set on a hill just outside Meanwood Ibex housing. Aside from the final 2km to the resort (which is in a bad state) the rest of the route is tarred. Its one of the few places I have come across with a lower weekend weekend, this could be in part owing to how busy they get with conferences and trainings, which is another thing they are well known for, boasting several meeting rooms of different sizes with views that are unmatched. The rooms are seemingly all adjoining and thats something I didnt appreciate, the gym is pretty basic but is open at convenient times. The service is decent but could be better. The food? they could certainly do better, having tried atleast 4 different meals on their menu it was far from impressive, the breakfast was 5 star I will give them that. Overall good place to stay, ample parking, can use the vicinity roads for...
