This was the best $200 that I've spent on accommodation.

The place is remarkable beyond words. It truly is a private man-made Paradise in Lusaka with amazing nature, animals and singing birds.

A big very well kept garden that is old healthy forest and neat green grass. A lot of animals roaming around after lunch time. We saw 1 giraffe, zebras, impalas, bush pigs, sables, 1 puku, 2 waterbucks and monkeys.

Interestingly, in the morning before 12 there was not a single creature to be seen (it seems they have their own schedule :).

The interior is professionally designed with a good sense of style. Everything is in earthy colours with lots of natural materials used. We especially enjoyed reed furniture. The bedding was done flawlessly. The bathroom is very convenient and clean.

In the evening the team put up a fire for us. We dipped in the cold pool and warmed by the hot fire – the contrast was exceptionally pleasant. We enjoyed a lot of walking, running and exercising on grass in the morning.

The staff is trained the Ritz-Carlton way. Whenever we wanted to ask for something, they proposed it before we had a chance to speak. Very smiley and professional. Thank you Koana, Nathan and co.

Definitely coming back.

PS: Absolutely not a disadvantage – just a friendly idea. The place could benefit from clearer directions of where you can and cannot walk. Because some areas are private and some are reserved for animals. But it's unclear where exactly, so we walked and kept on wondering whether we were violating anything or not :) Also maybe a...

This place took my breath away when I saw it for the first time. Granted I am not well travelled as of the writing of this review so that may be why I had a dramatic reaction to the place but perhaps that is a good thing. Frankly, I am sick and tired of watching picturesque tourist spots on television and all of them being beyond my reach (especeially when in other countries) so I was so glad to see that we had this in our back yard in Lusaka District.

I visited this place last year (2022) for work so the place may look a little different now however, even back then it was a marvelous resort. I just wish they had more accomodations but perhaps this was by design for privacy. So much to this place that I can't put into this review but, it also has wildlife on the property and they offer game drives.

This is more of an adult vacation spot than a family (with kids) vacation spot. And it's Zambian owned. Sadly I did not sleep at this place so I can't give a detailed review like I do with other places.

This place can be confusing to get to the first time. Parking is also limited (again I suspect by design). You definately need to make reservations in advance...

Great place and the food was AMAZING! Keep in mind this resort is in nature away from the city. Cell service is ok, there are bugs, and there are other people they have to serve. With that said...

Breakfast was absolutely amazing, the T bone steak was the best we'd ever had. The service was quick and they were very accommodating.

The resort is away from the city and in nature. We had a giraffe at our balcony the first morning and and monkeys the next (keep your doors locked lol). The bed was super comfortable and the only bugs we did have inside was a wasp from leaving the door open. Our only complaint was the water. It was cold then super hot. We had to rinse off as the water went from cold to hot, but we just put hot water in the tub and topped off with cold water after that.

The waterfall and sunset viewing were our most memorable. The bike riding was great too. We got to see all sorts of wildlife safely with our guide.

In short this is a great resort in nature away from the hustle and bustle rat race in the city, comfortable luxurious rooms, better food than we'd ever had and the customer service was exceptional! We will definitely be back for a...
