Mthuzi Nadi Lodge — Hotel in Southern Province

Fairly decent, the rooms are clean 3/5, the bedding 5/5 but the showers and toilets are mostly not up to standard in the 3 rooms I have been. Maintenance has been left to the dogs, the cisterns are not functioning properly the shower heads leaking from multiple places. The accomodation prices are in the middle range compared to other lodges around, definitely not expensive. The meals are not very impressive could use some cheffing tutorials to improve on the presentation and taste. The swimming pool is big enough though not very well maintained. Pathetic is how you can describe this lodge...room smelled dusty causing me to start sneezing, continental breakfast is a myth as they only offered eggs and bread...apparently they ran out of bacon, baked beans and everything else by 8.30am. The eggs tasted disgusting, dinner/lunch shows the lack of skill by their chef, for instance the rice was under done, the chicken dried out and the sauce, tasteless and saltless. On top of that, they didn't have change and decided to keep it until I asked is when I was informed they didn't have...

The rooms are perfectly good. Very spacious, clean with water running throughout and you cant feel the load shedding coz powere connects to generator automatically. So those are plusses. Kindly just improve on the meals. People are now health conscious so too much of fried foods with less vegetables may not be goid enough. Especially for conferences its good to provide a variety of food even if it means increasing the price. Otherwise i enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back...
