If there were a greater number than three to assess the quality I would give it! This is a wonderful location. No wonder it's popular with Honeymooners. Set on the banks of the mighty Zambezi we found everything to be elegant and very tasteful. The "tents " were beautifully furnished and lequipped with luxurious toiletries.Superb food, comfortable public areas and the staff were most attentive. The waiters were amazingly gracious and efficient. All was done with a smile. The location means it is about 40 kms from Livingstone including the very bumpy track to and from the main road. Some might find this a bit irksome. We felt we were seeing a little more of the area.. Of course this is reflected in the rates. There is plenty to do and the Lodge will book whatever you choose. The Victoria Falls are a 'must" including the helicopter trip and take in the Museum in Livingstone which tells so much about the man and about Zambia. Another "must" is the evening Siankaba sunset cruise. We had wonderful views of birds, some animals and even a River Otter and realised how wide and powerful this river is. Each night the sunsets were different and quite awesome. The wine and nibbles were good too! We also enjoyed the walk to and tour of the village which the Lodge, most commendably, supports and the nature walks are interesting. As the river was high (May) the walk had to curtailed as the water had encroached on the trail. You can see why we enjoyed our...

To be honest, we didn't expect much but we were blown away once we got there. We didn't want to leave. The serene environment is complemented by a bubbly and happy family - because they are not staff, these are just family. The food... oh my word!!! Every meal was curated specifically to how you wanted it. The sounds of the Zambezi as you have a nightly rest is to die for. We can rant all day about this place but please, if you want a home away from home, look no further than Siankaba. |We definitely are...
Β Β Β Read moreMy best friend and I visited Siankaba for 3 days. It was definitely the most amazing experience. The staff are lovely, kind and so professional. They made sure we were well taken care off. It was definitely 5 star π treatment fr the start till the end.
I mostly enjoyed the sunset cruise with Mr. Sydney, he was beyond amazing!!! Taught us a lot about so many animals. The village tour was lovely as we got to meet the village headman and the little children at Siankaba Community Trust School who welcomed us with songs and poems.
I will carry that experience with me...
