Zvërnec Islands

Zvërnec is a community in Vlorë County. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Vlorë. It is situated northwest of the city of Vlorë. Zvërnec. There are speakers of Aromanian also present in Zvërnec. The surrounding region is full of salt marshes. The island is nearly all covered with tall pine trees and is just east of a much smaller island. It is 430m in length and has a maximum width of 300m. Zvërnec Island is connected to the mainland by a 270m long wooden bridge. It’s a pretty interesting place to see in Vlora. You might first be disappointed by the actual look of it(if you decided to come because of the beautiful photos on google), but this place looks really good on camera, especially in sunny days.
