Il est situé au nord de Miliana, qui est bâtie sur ses flancs. Le faîte du mont est orienté est-ouest. Il domine d'un côté le Chlef et Tipaza de l'autre. Très beau paysage.

جبل زكار (من بربري أزايكور ، والذي يعني "القمة") هو ، بارتفاع 1550 مترًا فوق مستوى سطح البحر ، وهو أعلى نقطة في منطقة الظهرة في الجزائر. تقع شمال ميليانا المبنية على منحدراتها. قمة الجبل موجهة من الشرق إلى الغرب [1].
