It is a must-see place. 1)Check the forecast, because the weather changes so fast. 2) The best time to take photos is at sunrise, so you have to start your hike 2:30 hours before sunrise or you can camp at the campsite near the Laguna Torres. Check out my Instagram @alexandre_rapel to see suggestions for Pro-photography and the best locations in all Patagonia of Argentina and Chile. Enjoy it! If it was useful, please let you Like here to google show it to...

✨How to Layer for a Sunrise Hike✨ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Starting in the dark at the coldest time of the day comes with a big reward of watching the first light hit the mountain tops but also requires a little bit of extra planning. This is how I layered for my sunrise hike to Laguna Torre in El Chaltén, Argentina. The hike is 17.7km /11.0mi roundtrip with 480m/1,580ft of elevation gain. When we started, the temperature was hovering just below freezing so I wore my down jacket but quickly layered down during my first bit of uphill. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 1. Base layer top + tights 2. Gore’tex rain jacket 3. Down Jacket (I wear mine on the outside when hiking in the cold so that I can layer down quickly and keep my wind protection) 4. Accessories Backpack (35L) Ten Essentials Extra Layers Gloves + toque (for when you stop hiking) Extra water, mug, stove & coffee Headlamp ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ If you want to know exactly what pieces I am wearing here - head to my ‘El Chaltén Packing Guide’ on my website AND if you want to join me and hike here together in 2024 - you can sign up for that now! Both links can be found in my bio. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #patagonia #argentina #elchalten #outdoorsygirls #shehikes #lifeofadventure #earthpix #beautifuldestinations #reels 📍 El Chaltén, Patagonia, Argentina

Save my favorite spots in patagonia for your next adventure✌🏼In the last 10 days we explored the breathtaking landscape of Patagonia🏔️ It all started in El Calafate, from where we visited the massive Perito Moreno Glacier. From there we went on to El Chalten. An indescribably beautiful mountain scenery awaited us and we did a 20 km hike to Cerro Torre. Unfortunately, the weather conditions did not cooperate the following days and we were unable to do the hike to Fitzroy. Nevertheless, it was an incredibly great experience. We then spent the last part of the trip in Torres del Paine on the Chilean side of Patagonia. This national park is truly breathtaking and has an incredible amount of wildlife. In addition to countless guanacos, foxes and nandus, we were even lucky enough to see a puma 👀 It really was an unforgettable trip🥺 📍My absolute favorite spots in Patagonia 🏔️ Canadon Rio De Las Vueltas, El Chalten 🏔️ Laguna Torre, El Chalten 🏔️ Wooden Trail at Explora Patagonia, Torres del Paine 🏔️ Mirador Lago Nordenskjöld Lake, Torres del Paine 🏔️ View from Amarga Lake, Torres del Paine Secret Tip🤫 from the Amarga entrance back to Puerto Natales there might be good chances to see a puma in the evening along the road 🐆 #patagonia #patagoniatravel #travelreels #reelsinstagram
