Գուսանագյուղի ամրոց GUSANAGYUGH "CASTLE-FORTRESS" Gusanagyugh "Castle fortress" dates beck to the X-XII cc. Ile a rectangular three-story structure with an inter fioor on wooden beams. People used to go up to the second Toor by the stone staircase adjacent to the central part ol the southern wall inside the building. And to the third fioor, they could climb by the wooden staircase adjacent to the nece wall again inside the building. The height of the proserver walls is 7 meters. There ara pyramidal towers in the cornars. of the external walls of the building and in the central parts of the nortners and soutner walls there are rectangua! projections that served as staircases inside it. As stated by Toros Toramanyan in the place of the ruined fortrass thare used to bo a very large fort with immense walle built of massiva Syclopean basalt stones without mortar. Later the upper walls of the structure were built with serai-dressed tuf stone with lime mortar. The fortrets has been reconstructed many 3mes Now the monument is half-ruined, the eastern and the western walls, the upper parts, as well as the covers of all the Hoors have been...
