Moana Pizzeria — Local services in Adelaide

We visited Moana pizzeria only because of some of the reviews that had been given. To be honest its been one of the worst pizzas i have had. Pizza felt and tasted dry. What i asked for( and repeated to the counter staff to make sure it was correct order was nothing that id asked for) in fact they had missed a few things of my order. The lasagna that we also ordered was delivered in a foil container that is a 440 ml container. The lasagna would be good if it was even half of that. In fact i actually pulled apart the lasagna to even find the mince that was supposed to be in it. Found it hard to even find that. Staff were friendly and hard working so i would give a 10 for that however the food and for the price i would rate a 2.5. Happy to re visit but standeds...

Ordered one of the deals, 2x large pizza and g/bread $30. Menu clearly says "gourmet and vegan excluded from deals. Additional charge for 1/2 half, gluten free base, extra toppings". I ordered said special, with one of the pizzas having a GF base, was told on the phone, they'll be ready in 10 minutes. When I got there and went to pay I was told, because I'd ordered a GF base the special wasn't valid, so instead of being charged $36 ($30 + $6 for GF base) I was charged $42.50. I pointed out what the advertisement clearly stated, but, not wanting to make a huge scene and potentially upset the young girl serving me, I paid. Update your specials appropriately if you are going to exclude GF from your advertised price! False...

Moana pizzeria is no doubt one of the best if not the best pizzeria in Adelaide. Situated in Moana not far from wine region McLaren Vale. We tried out their pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas and they were amazing. The base and crust are so crispy and delicate in texture. Ingredients are fresh no doubt. So much flavour. The best one for me is their slow cooked ribs. So tender with a beautiful sauce perhaps bourbon based that I’d just right not too sweet. I couldn’t stop eating it. Everything priced well for families to a small party. Worth a drive to try it out if you are visiting McLaren Vale. This is my latest haunt now for great food down south...
