It’s the most wonderful time of the year here at Granite Christmas Farm anytime if you love all things Christmas can’t promise snow but just 2 hours drive from Brisbane or stay in the picturesque areas close by and you can visit the magical Granite Belt Christmas Farm, as soon as we entered the farm you could see the abundance of growing Christmas tree’s you can even reserve a fresh tree to be ready and collected in the harvesting season. The staff are happy to advise. As you drive up to the car parking area there are the cutest reindeer signs displayed in rows. Testing our trivia of remembering each reindeer’s name! It was really beginning to look a lot like Christmas, it was lovely to see all the farm animals and the families with children enjoying this experience and what a treat Mrs Claus kitchen ! Frosty milkshakes Rudolph’s Gelato. We ordered Belgium hot chocolate with marshmallows which was yummy, had we not previously eaten I would have loved to try the menu, Prancers Pancakes next time! There is a variety of drinks, snacks and the cakes looked yummy too. The shop of Christmas decorations The Mistletoe Store attached to Mrs Claus kitchen sells so many impressive Christmas items we could spend hours in here, then it doesn’t stop there! Fraser’s Harvest Barn is overwhelming! its so festive you just don’t know where to look! So well planned out of course Christmas tunes playing while you browse and shop. We went around the store once couldn’t decide what to buy but came back a second time after the hot chocolates to buy some decorations to take home to remind us of our wonderful visit. The staff here on the farm were lovely helpful we joined the mailing list too which is handy for keeping updated with events and ordering more irresistible Christmas decor. ✨GBCF is AMAZING. No two words about it. The whole experience has been thought about and delivered on. I have introduced the farm to many many people and visited many times from over 2.5 hours away. I have beautiful memories with my Mum who has now passed, family, friends and my children. Every year we do the Christmas in July event and it’s always so fun. This year I recently went down with my friend for the VIP night and wow. Just wow. That’s a whole other experience of its own. The twinkling lights of all the stores is amazing. The atmosphere was superb. Over time I’ve done it all there; Picnics in the Christmas tree fields, feeding the animals with my kids while sipping hot chocolate, Christmas in July, Meeting Santa, harvesting/choosing our own real Christmas tree and VIP nights. Nothing compares to any other Christmas shop I’ve visited. Like many, I am Christmas crazy so the standard is high. I am across international brands (which GBCF stock) and love that they even have their own line. They have an extraordinary range of Christmas treasures from indoors to outdoors. Ornaments, figurines, florals and picks. It is very obvious that the owners have poured every inch of themselves into every aspect of what they do. The elves (staff) are all exceptional also and have all been there long enough that we are starting to recognise faces each time we visit. That’s obviously a credit to them also.
