Wow! Where do I even begin? The Great Ocean Road is truly one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I've ever seen. The sheer power of the ocean crashing against the rugged cliffs, the unique rock formations, and the abundant wildlife – it was simply awe-inspiring.

I took a tour with Go West Tours and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the history, geology, and ecology of the region. The stops were perfectly timed, allowing us ample time to soak in the views and take photos.

Highlights included:

The Twelve Apostles: I opted for a thrilling helicopter ride over the Apostles, and it was an experience I'll never forget. The aerial perspective provided a truly unique and unforgettable view of these iconic rock formations. Loch Ard Gorge: A poignant reminder of the area's history, with stunning views of the gorge and the shipwreck. The beauty of the road itself: Driving along the Great Ocean Road is an experience in itself. The winding coastal road, with its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking views, is a masterpiece of engineering. Passing through the Great Otway National Park: The lush rainforest, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife within the national park added another dimension to the journey. While we didn't spot any seals during our tour, the sheer beauty of the landscape more than made up for it.

Go West Tours provided a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. The vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and the small group size ensured a more personalized experience.

I highly recommend the Great Ocean Road and Go West Tours to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. It's a truly unforgettable experience!

Tips: Book in advance, especially during peak season. Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be doing some walking. Bring a camera with plenty of memory space. Pack layers as the weather can change quickly. Don't forget...

I have been to a solo trip to Australia and one of the places to visit was Melbourne. It’s a beautiful trendy city. The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 240-kilometre stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. It’s in Melbourne and a must visit beautiful tourist place. Though one may self drive and you will love it but if you can’t you may take a public transport or a group tour. I took a group tour from Melbourne downtown to the great ocean tour. Its a full one day tour including pick and drop from a point and includes basic lunch. There is a tour guide who will show you all the points of interest. It’s better if you plan your trip and itinerary and book this tour online to avoid any last minute rush and overbooking. I booked through viator.com It is famous for being the Australia's largest war memorial. Completed in 1932, the Great Ocean Road was built as a memorial to Victoria's First World War servicemen and women, and it serves as a lasting reminder of their war service and sacrifice. As the premier southern touring route in the country, most people take between 2-4 days to complete the coastal drive. In doing so they enjoy plenty of iconic Great Ocean Road experiences such as waterfall chasing, wild koala & kangaroo spotting, relaxing on beaches and dining out in cute...

If you are in Melbourne, it’s a must for you to take a trip to the great ocean road. Do take a local tour for this trip. I went on this tour using Go West tour and I had this amazing tour guide by the name of Aaron. He is funny and a good story teller. Along the way, we stop by Apollo Bay and had this amazing Scallop Pie!!! It’s a long tour but it’s something that I will remember for a long time
