We've just returned home from a trip to Blinman to live the Wadna experience!
We first browsed through the shop & Gabrielle was lovely- you can tell she just loves her 'job'- if you could call it that!
Gabrielle, Kristian & the place itself is so welcoming. The shop is full of genuine art pieces, artefacts (many made by Kristian himself), souvenirs and so much more!
We ventured on a couple tours with Kristian to Dingly Dell & Sacred Canyon. I cannot put into words how amazing the experience was! To visit the area and see the magnificent surroundings is one thing, but to learn of the cultural significance of the area, the dreamtime stories, to get the knowledge of the bush tucker, how and where tools were made, and of course the petroglyphs and paintings; I can't describe the enlightenment!
I absolutely recommend you book a guided tour with Kristian. His wealth of knowledge and friendly, giving personality will leave you with an experience you'll never forget! 10/10...

Hello, welcome", he said. He was working in the shop in front of a fire and we joined to watch him carve and mark clapsticks. My sons were enthralled, and Kristian took the opportunity to teach them about his family and culture and talk them through the story of the markings he was making. We jumped at the chance to buy the clapsticks and they'll be a treasured item and memory of our family holiday. The art and crafts are of a very high quality and the service from Kristian and his wife is the best we experienced on our holiday through the Flinders Ranges. I highly recommend a visit to Wadna - a great business run by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSimply put, Wadna is marvellous. In strict retail terms, you're likely to find something in a theme or price range you might prefer. In broader terms, you can view and admire things that months or years of labour and Adnyamathanha understanding has gone into. Like the endless dust up there, the more you let settle into your skin, the more you can perceive that you didn't expect. If you take something home with you from Wadna, ask to hear its story, or you'll be leaving half of it behind. Wadna is filled with treasures that can never be made twice. No two stories are the same, no two branches, no two stones. And no two mountains or valleys either. The map calls this region the "Flinders Ranges," but you should go to Wadna and see its identity more...
