Mount Perisher – Big Slopes, Bigger Views
As the highest lifted point in Perisher and the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, Mount Perisher is a must-visit for snow lovers chasing wide runs, thrilling drops, and unbeatable alpine scenery.
The slopes here are more expansive, with a great variety of terrain for intermediate to advanced riders. On a clear day, the views from the top are absolutely breathtaking — you can see across the whole Snowy Mountains range. It’s the kind of spot that makes you pause, take off your gloves, and snap a photo (or ten).
Mount Perisher is also well connected to other resort areas like Blue Cow, Front Valley, and Guthega, so it’s easy to make it part of a full day of exploring. Just hop on a lift and go wherever the snow takes you.
Why Visit Mount Perisher? • Largest and most iconic area in Perisher • Stunning 360° mountain views • More challenging terrain for experienced skiers • Smooth access to other areas via lifts • Epic sunsets if you catch the late runs
Final Thoughts: Mount Perisher delivers on every level – from high-speed runs to serene snow-dusted landscapes. Whether you’re here to ride hard or just breathe in the crisp mountain air, this peak is pure...
Read moreWe were lucky enough we still had the chance to touch the snow. We were’t there to skateboarding or whatsoever, we simply just wanted to take good photos, and I recommend you to wear boots and thick jacket because its so cold, trust me we wore 4 layers of clothes plus jacket to catch the warmth. If u don’t have any of them you could rent ones, we got referral from our previous lodge (NRMA Jindabyne Holiday Park) and they gave us 20% discount but id rather keep the store a secret because we had some bad impressions from the shopkeeper. Anyway if u want to do the skiing or skateboarding then u come to the right place, this ski resort also has the cable car but the ticket is for one way only so make sure you are off at the first and second stop and then the cable car will take you back to your start point. Not to mention this place also has a foodcourt so don’t worry you’ll get hungry in a...
Read moreHighly recommend this place for extra fun with snow and ski riding. I went there with family. I have never experienced snow and the perisher gave me that opportunity. Hotels and stays are available there. We went there with Ozia tours. Thank you OziaTours for giving an amazing and excellent snow experience. We travelled on 12 and 13 July as a group of 6 Indeed, the ozia tours did an amazing job to secure the safety and they had planed everything from the itinerary, ski gears, stop over and even the food shops that made the trip an enjoyable and a memorable experience. It was a super quality service tour with our guide Ivon and Captain Marcus. Thumbs up for their guidance.
