The trip is not for the faint-hearted. Corrugated roads with loose stone surfaces. The road up to the top is part tar, pothole, washout, and narrow enough to test the nerves. And it's no passing, so if you meet anyone, someone's going backwards. Saying that, he view is spectacular. Not to die for but impressive, even if not sunset. Good clean facilities at the top. A few goats are the main inhabitants. Enjoy this experience.

Access to mountain is on private land. fee required to get key about $20 /person. owners maintain picnic area on top. Road is dirt and sealed track up hill. Hold your breath as track is cliff on both sides and sealed track was rough. Good to see eagles at eye level. Can see curve of earth is so flat

An absolutely breath taking sunset and views. Property owner Denise was very helpful explaining precisely how to get to get to the property, and then through her property for some amazing photos. Thank you so much Denise for an amazing evening.

Absolutely awesome! The road in was heavily corrugated so take it easy but definitely worth the effort! $11.00pp for the pass is good value as the owners maintain very good amenities with clean toilets and bbq perfect for camping. The sunset was insane and we hung around to look at the milky way which was awesome! Grab the pass from the information / exhibition centre and get out there you won't be...
