Great area for testing the 4wd we too a Patrol for a blast - saw about another half dozen vehicles. Checked out the vehicle on the eastern tracks , then put it in L4 and over the big dune to the beach. Because its winter, I guess the beach was probably narrower than summer. We had a slight delay coming out of a wet section, but the tyres weren't that low (only abt 20 psi). The land-side tracks appear well used and were wet in places. The bush is pretty thick, but I doubt there are many native critters there, given the close proximity of urban development. I think a lot of locals camp on the beach when the weather is right. Looking at the satellite image, it looks like there is something unpleasant in the south-east corner of the reserve. When you get on the beach you can see the blow-outs, but it looks like a lot of work has been done to slow...

This is somewhere were we take the dogs for a early morning swim before the crouds turn up. It is a very beautiful and tranquil part of our world as long as we all take our rub ish out and keep our cool. If you are going to be angry then this us not the place to come. One side is protected by a small reef and the rest is open ocean with a few reefy bits. 4...

I've been coming to this spot since the 80s. Just approx. 45 min - 1hr south of Perth CBD. A highly recommended spot that's brilliant for any reason that suits. Safe for kids. 4WD access only, rules that are put in place. "So obey them". Us Sangropers don't want this beach closed to 4WD, due to misuse. Fishing is also great. Enjoy and respect the environment. Cheers
