Great area for testing the 4wd we too a Patrol for a blast - saw about another half dozen vehicles. Checked out the vehicle on the eastern tracks , then put it in L4 and over the big dune to the beach. Because its winter, I guess the beach was probably narrower than summer. We had a slight delay coming out of a wet section, but the tyres weren't that low (only abt 20 psi). The land-side tracks appear well used and were wet in places. The bush is pretty thick, but I doubt there are many native critters there, given the close proximity of urban development. I think a lot of locals camp on the beach when the weather is right. Looking at the satellite image, it looks like there is something unpleasant in the south-east corner of the reserve. When you get on the beach you can see the blow-outs, but it looks like a lot of work has been done to slow...
Read moreAMAZING VIEW omg so pretty even at 3pm the water is decently clear and the colour is STUNNING theres emerald, aqua, dark blue, everything you can think of its so so pretty. its also a 4-wheel-drive entrance, and we got stuck on the way out aahahhahaha 😭 the way in was ok a little bumpy but otherwise good but the way out was hard lol we were stuck there with our tyres spitting sand everywhere for like 15 minutes 🤠👍 so fun✌🏻 anyways great views very pretty water and another bonus is that the sun is right above the water which makes photos gorgeous...
