Oz Paragliding & Hang Gliding — Local services in Boyland

We were a little disappointed with our stay here. The weather and rain had meant we could not stay on the campsites and we ended up parking our van on a dryer spot near the host’s property and other buildings, so not as secluded or private as we had hoped. On our last night the host was having a private function/party in one of the buildings we were parked near, she told us about it and said it would be over by 10pm, we were fine with this. But the party got louder at 10pm and went until 11pm, only stopping after I Rang the host and left a message because she didn’t answer. We were leaving the next morning and didn’t hear from them at all, no apology or offer of a refund because of our disturbed night. We felt like their party and party guests were more important than we were. A bit disappointing as we were looking forward to this...

We had such an amazing stay at Oz Sky Ranch, Site 2. It is very large, flat and private site, with incredible views overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Couldn't ask for a better spot to sit back, relax and unwind. This is our third stay at Oz Sky Ranch and we will definitely be back again soon! We enjoyed being able to walk around and explore the lake, seeing the cows and checking out the other sites available, all of which are large and generously spaced for an enjoyable stay with privacy for other sites. Lisa is such an amazing host, always so friendly, welcome and working hard to improve the Ranch for her guests. The new toilet and shower facilities are fantastic and so well maintained. We look forward to seeing what else she gets up to between now and...

I stayed at the Sky Ranch the night before my hang gliding experience. The rooms are really clean and nicely decorated and the beds are super comfortable. There's also a nice kitchen area on site available to use. Hang gliding takes place early in the morning at the Sky Ranch (with Oz Paragliding and hang gliding) so it's nice to be able to just walk out of your room and be right at the launch site. The hang gliding is done by aerotow so you fly way higher than you can with any other company in Australia and you get to fly for around 20 minutes. Taking off in a hang glider using aerotow was beyond exhilarating. The pilot Lisa is very experienced and she puts you at ease with the whole experience.
