Management of this Airport does not enforce the fly neighbourly principles to their clients. Planes constantly performing touch and go's at full throttle in the same pattern over and over. The surrounding suburbs are growing, and your airport is outdated. It's not 1927 anymore and the community is fed up. Do you think the flight path in the image is normal for flight training overpopulated areas? This is a big nuisance and an accident waiting to happen. Training pilots should not be flying over dense residential areas.

Picture perfect airport, wonderfull staff and services available! Everyone is passionate about aviation, from the cafe to the fuel handlers and especially the pilots. Conveniently, the avgas or jet fuel is brought directly to your aircraft and filled on your request. Call the special number, however they may ask if you have a VIVA card, no itโ€™s not a VISA card. Highly reccomend the Air Archerfield cafe, itโ€™s right on demand and has a nice range of pastries, wraps and sandwiches! Wonderful aerodrome with non-bossy ATC.

Its was an honour to share the Centenary Celebrations walking through n reading the headstones of Family Pioneers of Archerfield and surrounds towns. The duo Country Singers were A1.. I suggest they make a CD of their cheerful n magical songs of our bush and past including a cuppa tea!! ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž them.

What a delightful place to spend a few hours. Lots of planes & helicopters taking off & landing, which my almost 2 year old grandson loved. Terminal is like a trip into yesteryear; beautifully presented, such a pleasant change from high tech modern buildings. Lots of airline history too. We had a bite to eat at the Cafe, which serves a lovely assortment of snacks & meals. I like strong coffee & found theirs a little weak for my taste but there are plenty of cold drink choices. All up it was a great place, (not crowded,) to...
