Inadequate disability change rooms with change tables. Inadequate amount of pool wheelchairs. Disability bathrooms have automated doors that will shut while you're standing in the doorway, potentially damaging expensive wheelchairs. Incident reports have been written in reference to such, but the issue remains. Ceiling hoists are frequently in operational. Staff do not regularly patrol the inside pool, leading to nondisabled individuals using the disability bathrooms at their own leisure. Water bubblers outside don't work. Most of the staff are very polite, but there is one young man whom wears glasses that is exceptionally rude. I've raised some concerns with him on a number of occasions and he displayed willful apathy, did not offer to try and rectify the problems or fill out essential paperwork in order to get maintenance completed. That idiot should be given his marching orders. The outside pool is a nice setting. Overall most of the issues relating to this pool are not unique. These are common problems that need to be addressed...

Lots of sunshades chairs, Undercover areas, Has a great. Indoor heated pool. And lots of change rooms and showers. Doesn’t really have the flat bars that some of the others have which is a little bit of a drawback however it’s got great parking and the cost is not too bad. Don’t forget Brisbane city council are doing a discounted price from December 1, 2023, until I think 29th of February 2024. This will save the cost of entry to the pool drop to only two dollars. Yes $2!!!!! It is right next to the skate/bike park and there are netball courts and plenty of park area to roam around in. So you could literally make an afternoon or morning of it. Get out and about smell some fresh air, get some vitamin D. Make sure you put your...
Read moreDon't go to this pool at 5 in afternoon if your planning on doing any kind of exercise. Swimming squad was on taking most of the outside pool. Only one lane open for lappers of which their were 4 of us trying to use it. In the leisure part full of kids that have finished their training doing bomb dives in the pool of which one large red head kid nearly jumped on my head he was very pleased with himself. Kids blocking the ramp in and out of the pool. The lifeguard was just watching and not pulling them up for it. No parents telling kids not to jump in the shallow pool. Their are no signs up at the front saying squad in session or timetable. Late morning early afternoon is best...
