Simpsons Gap — Local services in Burt Plain

First gap we saw in the region and it is stunning! It is only a short walk to get here and near the far right close to the gap there is a rock area and we saw a small rock wallaby, it was around 7.30 am. We also did the Cassie Hill Walk nearby which is a short 1.8 km loop, you can grab the self guided walk pamphlet to learn more about plants along the way, which was fun! It is sealed roads all the way through, we took our caravan.

Stunning place for a hike & explore How to get there it is about 20 or 25 minutes driving from Alice Springs. Amazing place, one of the best stops on the Larapinta drive from Alice Springs towards West McDonnell ranges. The place is very close to the city so no reason to miss this place even if you have couple of hours. The reflections in the water are amazing as you can see in the images and the gap is just amazing. There are toilets and ample parking esp no rush in summers. Highly recommended place for some amazing views of the beauty of red centre...
