Broome Cruises — Local services in Cable Beach

What a delightful and delicious treat we had last week on Crusader for the very new Broome Cruise, seven (or was it eight?) course culinary adventure. We were picked up bang on time from our accommodation by the lovely Chloe, and taken direct to Gantheaume Point. Mark skilfully drove the “sea-legs” from the dry sand and into the waters of Cable Beach, to the boat on its mooring. When all passengers were aboard we gently motored out to the pearl farm to see how the shells hang in their panels. We were treated to a display of the opening of a shell, and even a taste of the delicious muscle. That was a real treat. One fantastic seafood course followed another, served by attentive crew members, along with an array of wines and beers. My favourite was the chorizo and prawn skewers, but everything was delicious. Dessert was just divine! We had the last three courses sitting down at a beautifully laid table. One aspect of the tour I particularly enjoyed was the opportunity to chat to other guests as well as the crew. Just the most unbelievable experience and the perfect addition to Broome. Having already experienced an amazing wild seafood experience with these guys at Rottnest I knew I was in for something special but this raised the bar. From the moment we arrived until we left (didn’t want to leave) we were treated like royalty with service that surpasses many 5 star hotels. Gourmet food beautifully presented by sensational staff - and tasting pearl meat for the first time was amazing (the taste is polarising).

Well done Broome Cruises for an innovative product that suits Broome. It’s not a cheap evening for a family but there is no cutting of corners and this is luxury so is worth every cent that coupled with the sunset is a once in a lifetime experience. What an absolutely sensational way to spend an afternoon and evening! The crew were knowledgeable and friendly, attentive superb hosts! The 7 course menu was to die for with the crew finding you on the boat to deliver your first few courses. Superb top shelf wine, sparkling and beers - the crew never letting your glass get dry!! Then the nightlight was seeing a pearl shell opened to reveal a 12mm almost perfectly round pearl ❤️ The homeward sail under a red sky Kimberley sunset just topped it all off.
