Honeyeater Lookout Walk is a 7.5km, grade 4 hike located in Conway National Park, Queensland. The hike should take around 3 hours to complete. Honeyeater lookout is a short walk from the Airlie Beach main street. The Honeyeater Lookout starts at Kara Crescent which is a 15-20 minute walk from Airlie Beach and can be accessed by foot or car. It's best to start the walk from the main street, as the parking near the start of the walk is limited and suggested for local traffic only. Honeyeater Lookout trail is quite steep at the start of the trail, so make sure to keep hydrated and bring enough water for a 3 hour return hike. When you reach the lookout, you are greeted with an expansive view over Cannonvale and Airlie Beach and the Coral Sea Marina. Return to Kara Crescent the way you came. It's just a small walking distance from the Airlie beach town, maybe around 10mins walk? It is advisable that you walk from there as a car is not allowed to park at the entrance there. The trail is around 2.5-3 hours return depending on your speed. Please keep in mind that it is a bike track too so be careful of all the MTB coming up and down That is a good lookout to see the whole airlie beach Overall a good place to spend the evening

This walk is not for the unprepared, 400m+ in elevation, that said it's a great challenge for those who enjoy a great view at the top of a track The lower section is quite steep and slippery in the dry gravel then moves into more canopy coverage trail through the rainforest section then opens up near the lookout ,allow plenty of time to see the wildlife and flora enjoy 😉
