We have been wanting to visit this beautiful area for some time and have finally arrived. The lake is perfect and there are plenty of camping spots. Camps 12 indicates that there are toilets here but alas they are not. Self contained or portable toilet are needed. There are big bins for you refuse but being near a dam there is not a RV Dump Point. Great walking trails around the lake as well as the rugged country side.

Excellent Free Camp. Loads of space for camping across a few different areas. Accessible for 2WD's, trailers, vans, caravans and buses alike. Great for kayaking and fishing, plus there was some nice greenery around for the cows.

Beautiful location to pull up for the night or even a few. Large dam full of birdlife. Nice walk and great for a quick dip. There were a few other vans but plenty of room. No amenities, must be self sufficient.

It's very low at the moment but still great. Can Camp for free. Also had a boat ramp to get out and drop your pots or do some croc spotting. It can get overrun by grey nomads but they have been mostly fine in our experience, just a few entitled but the majority...

Beautiful place, lovely breeze off the water, my only complaint would be too many people staying too long, there should be a time limit on your visits, so all of the people get a look in and not just a select few, I know it happens in most places, but...
