I ordered a Japanese Maple from their website, which stated that the delivery timeframe was 1 - 5 business days but after 5 business days the order never arrived, and no explanation was provided. Attempts to contact them proved very difficult. Initial email enquiries did not receive a response, and multiple calls were never answered or called back. Only times I received a response was after emailing them and warning that if I did not receive a response by the end of the day, I would ask my bank to do a charge back on my credit card. I then received a text message saying that they would look into the matter, but days later I still had heard nothing. I once again sent an email warning of a charge back which got me a vague answer that the ordered had been shipped and was on schedule, but they couldn't say when it would arrive. I asked for an estimate on the delivery time or else I would consider cancelling the order. They never responded, even after multiple follow up messages. A week after their last response and 3 weeks after I had ordered the tree, I received an email saying that the order was cancelled at my request and a refund was provided. I have no idea why it was so hard for them to respond to me properly, especially when most of their reviews say they their delivery is fast and they have great communication. Read moreRequesting a five star review, in exchange for express delivery, as soon as I made an online order was the first red and unethical flag we received from Brisbane Plant Nursery. Unfortunately it just got worse for us from that point. We purchased over $1000 in plants. There was delayed delivery, two missing trees, one incorrect plant, and then weeks of back and forth to try and get our two missing trees delivered and the incorrect plant picked up. In the end we requested a refund which they agreed to via text but then didn’t process. We then had to open a case with afterpay which was a major hassle but they sorted it in the end even though they got no response from Brisbane Plant Nursery. The incorrect plant is still sitting on our doorstep waiting to be picked up, a month later. The whole process was a massive mess and expense. They don’t answer their phone, only text, then we got ghosted when they knew they had messed up. I was patient throughout and understand things go wrong but this business’ fundamental issues negatively impacted us. And now the trees we did get from them are dying. An expensive lesson for us!
