This cemetery houses the remains of Japanese people who died in Australia during World War II. The gravesite of the 234 Japanese POWs, who died during the ‘Cowra breakout’ in 1944, are located here. The remains of Japanese airforce personnel, who were killed during WWII raids on Darwin, are also located at this gravesite. There is no admission fee to this location.
