Worst park I’ve ever stayed at. Where do I start? Difficult to find as it’s in a sports ground. On arrival was given map to our site and it was like a treasure hunt. Map difficult and instructions from lady in office not accurate. Eventually found the site and couldn’t find the power or water connection. Back to the office where the lady said, oh didn’t I explain this part? Hook up is into another site which is not visible via extensions which then meander along the ground. Antiquated power board with no safety switch - very dangerous and not code. Neighbour informed us when she arrived power switch didn’t work on the neighbouring 3 sites. Massive old pine trees which is nice for shade but incredibly worrisome for falling limbs. On walking around the park found one cabin flattened by pine branch. Didn’t make us feel very safe. Our site was behind a retaining wall so we were literally stacked on top of each other. Our view was the underside of another van. Horrible. Now to the bathrooms where there is a mop bucket asking you to mop your own shower after use. Water runs hot without warning during showering and scolds you. Park filled with ancient permanent vans that are an eyesore I don’t know what else to say…… oh there’s no dump point in the park, it’s outside near the sports ground. And for all of this you pay a premium price. The 3 other parks we stayed at during our trip had swimming pools, grassed sites, and lovely facilities for less. Unfortunately there isn’t much choice for caravan parks in Daylesford and the quality and care for this park absolutely reflects this. No need to care for the park as if you want to stay in Daylesford with your van, this is where...

We stayed in Elm 8 unit over the Anzac weekend April 2025 and paid $246.67 a night for 3 adults. Other members of our family were also staying there for the weekend as well. We arrived on the Thursday afternoon and when we arrived at our unit it was so disappointed with it . Cannot believe it has never been undated for about 40years not only that the place was filthy. We had taken our shoes off at the door and walked inside with my white socks on and by the time I put my case down in the bedroom they were black. The dishes and cutlery were dirty in the cupboards in the kitchenette. Spider webs everywhere. I continued to make the bunk bed up and went out to get something a few minutes later i returned to the room and there was the biggest spider in the bedroom on the floor. I’d hate to think of where that came from😡 The broom was full of hair and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom also in the shower 😡|All of our family members that stayed there were all disappointed with their accommodation as well their cabins were old , filthy and smelt like animals and. Needed updating to. |Our families gathered in the camp kitchen each night for dinner and that was not kept clean either.|The toilet blocks are also so very old and are in need of an update.|Think it’s about time they spent some money on the place for the prices they are charging | VERY...

We chose to stay in a cabin with a gas log fire and paid extra for it. The gas log fire didn’t work on arrival. Robert and Kathy, who just arrived to manage the holiday park, called the owner and advised us he knows about the issue and there’s no quick fix to it. So, knowing about the issue, he charged us extra for it. After expressing our dissatisfaction with the provided cabin, we were offered a cheese platter and 20% off our payment as they didn’t have an available replacement cabin. Furthermore, the cabin wasn’t cleaned properly after previous guests. We had to clean a mattress protector to put linen on the bunk bed. Floor wasn’t cleaned properly too. The cabin was heavily infested with ants. They were literally everywhere – crawling on the beds, walls, in wardrobes, on the dining table, etc. Some ant traps were attached to kitchen cabinets, but they were hardly helping. No extra discount for it. The cabin was over $230 a night, which is well overpriced for the tired, dirty, poorly maintained, full of ants cabin. The 20% discount and cheese platter were nice, but they wouldn’t make up for the huge disappointment we had staying there. I only give the second star to the place because Robert and Kathy genuinely tried to help and make our...

Stayed at 12+ parks in last couple of months, this is the best by far! Kim was welcoming/friendly upon arrival, Steve took the time to show me the park and select best site for my caravan, openly offered assistance and helped me to set-up/pack-up (travelling solo & total novice!), had various chats with both Kim & Steve throughout the stay - they always stopped in passing to say hi. Very professional/informative handling of the snap 5 day lockdown. Facilities high standard - frequently checked/maintained. They saw me leaving and both came out to say goodbye! The way Kim & Steve run this park, they should offer training to other park managers, there's definitely some that could use it!

We stayed on a picturesque powered site with our van over cup weekend. Our site was very large with enough room for our friends and their swags. Amenities were clean and well maintained and the park is not too far from town. Aaron, Meagan and the staff were brilliant. So friendly and accommodating of all requests we made. They even put on breakfast for the entire campsite as a special treat on the Monday! Authentic, people who genuinely care about your experience. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!
