Great hike! You can either do the 18km return hike or park at Coree campground (I did the drive in a 2 door yaris) and then a 6km round trip walk up Mt Coree. Amazing views and good chance of seeing snow in winter months. If walking, watch out for the 4wds.

Love Mount Corree, we have been up many times - 4WD only - you can park and walk up if you are keen! Magnificent views ... truly feels like you are on top of the world - I have many sunny day photos but for some reason cannot access them to upload them

Gorgeous part of the world. Superb views East, South and West.4WD with high clearance or motor bike. Very gravelly and steep on last few legs. Spots to let others pass.

The perfect combination of easy access, close proximity to Canberra and fantastic views. Almost the whole drive can be completed in a 2wd vehicle in dry conditions, however the last 1km up the Coree trail would call for at least an AWD to avoid bottoming out and...
