NEVER TRUST ARAMEX!
They are either criminally negligent or actively engaged in organized crime!
No regard whatsoever for the safety and security of packages in their care or for the sellers or receivers of such goods. They need to be shut down immediately. They are clearly shoddy offshore racket taking advantage of the demand for parcel delivery at the expense of anyone else involved.
To summarise our experience with them: This company has succeeded in losing 3 out of 3 parcels they've ever attempted to deliver to me. within the space of 3 months. Thankfully the first 2 were easily replaced by the insurance/seller although with no consequence for Aramex.
Most recently they have lost both an expensive and rare/difficult to replace item. I never give authority to leave however on this occasion the seller (international) gave authority to leave "in a safe location" Instead, Aramex left this large parcel in a public space, not secured in any way, without attempting to contact me, AT THE WRONG ADDRESS, a block away. When I received the email I immediately contacted the company who were able to show me a photo demonstrating just how unsafe the parcel was from thieves and that it was placed right underneath a sign clearly stating a different address from the box!
For a week now I have had to call the same Manilla call centre who are unable to update me further as to the location of the parcel despite promising to "retrieve" it. They cannot even tell me if retrieval has been attempted, and they refuse to call the depot or couriers to ask, or to provide me with contact details to do so instead.
They have also refused to transfer my call to a manager or provide any kind of case number/record/email trail to follow up.
I am certain that the delivery driver in our area is either brazenly stealing parcels that seem to be of worth, or is colluding with thieves to take advantage of unsecured goods. If they were not actively trying to ensure the disappearance/loss of packages it makes no sense to behave in this way. simply dropping all parcels at the parcel collection centre would be far easier than dropping them at random unsecured locations and taking photographs of them.
The company needs to be shut down to prevent them doing further harm until an investigation can be completed.

Read moreWorse ever, delivery experience. As per Fastway advice, I scheduled for a redelivery and got a day off from work and stayed at home for whole day. No one showed up. then I called several times to call center and finally find out the driver from the time that I scheduled for the delivery had attempted 2 times without notifying me. It is scheduled for delivery the day after I requested. it seems the driver decides when to come rather than working around customers availability. I tried to explain to the customer service that if you try to deliver the parcel 1000 times but when no one is at home, it is only wasting of time. No resolution yet. I believe I have to drive 55 Kilometer to pick it up my self like many others. To get over this headache, i called to call centre and arranged to go to the base and pickup the parcel myself. I've got another afternoon time off from work and drove to Hume. Guess what, the parcel was with the driver for delivery while i was in Hume to pickit up. All attempts to call the driver were not successful. I was told that nothing can be done and they will arrange a connection delivery to belconnen. In about 1 hr time i received a phone call that the driver advised the parcel has been delivered and the owener has singed the delivery docket. I was shocked, told them that i was in your base at that time and no one was at home to receive a $800 parcel. It was given to someone else or left at my front door. The guy said he will ring me. I drove home to see what is going on. On the driveway i saw their van. The driver told me that he was asked to come and check the parcel as he wasn't the delivery driver, it was left at my front door (i don't know who signed the papers then) after 15 min waiting and confirmation from his supervisor finally I've got my parcel. It is a...
Read moreAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! (I Wish i read this google review ) I run a Toy store, I decided to use parcel connect (FASTWAY) I had a customer wanting to deliver a parcel to the SunShine Coast (not that remote quite mainstream place) On the website said 3 business days. So I drop it off at manuaka. I notice 3 days late when I went to track the parcel that there is NOTHING RECORDED. So i message them They use a call centre in some 3rd world country. You cant actually contact the depot. If you use the website you can only message them! twice I messaged them being concerned that there is no movement on the tracking. NEVER GOT BACK TO ME 1 week passes, i contact my customer, to see if they have gotten the parcel. Still no movement. I use the canberra number, get transfered to the out of country call centre, explain the situation was told the depot would call me within 24hours. NO CALL. Finally 2 weeks later, I get an absolutely ropeable message from my customer angry as hell, as her grandson missed his birthday present! I follow up for the 4th time, to see that it took 9 days! for fastway to even pick up my parcel from the business drop off point, and 2 weeks to deliver the parcel! (I still dont know if the customer actually gotten the parcel as it was "safe dropped". Now i goto compensate a ropeable customer Only using AUSTRALIA POST. At least you can contact someone in australia. When you run a business, communication is key and FASTWAY is absolutely USELESS. Who runs a business which has time key products, and you can only message the depot? and even then they NEVER get back to you. The only voice contact point is some 3rd world country call centre. AVOID !!!!!!!!!! Australia post all the way!
Followup - 3 weeks later I got a reply to my...
