Have used this boat ramp on numerous occasions while holidaying at Windemere Park. Has good access and never had any issues with the parking. From the boat ramp you have access to Dora creek and Lake Macquarie in you're boat.

Dora Creek is amazing because you are about 2 hours away from Sydney (smirk). A beautiful spot and great little fish and chip shop too. Fishing is plentiful and you just need to ask one do the friendly locals for good spots. Scenic and surrounded by water and...

Best place to go to, get rid of the wife and kids. Disappear, hook the boat and head down to Dora creek boat ramp where your precious boat will be loved, you'll be loved and treated like the hunter Fisher you aspire to be...dad's fish ...fish on...

Good spot to throw the tinny in, cleaning tables for cleaning the catch and pretty well sheltered for solo boat loading. Parking is tricky if you get arrogant people stopping in silly spots or being impatient to back up...
