Haycock Point is a stunning coastal spot located within Ben Boyd National Park, New South Wales. The short walks around the area are well-maintained and offer beautiful views of rugged cliffs, dramatic rock formations, and the open ocean. It's a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature without crowds. The scenery is spectacular, especially during sunrise or sunset. Parking is easy and close to the walking tracks. Overall, Haycock Point is a hidden gem perfect for a relaxing walk, photography, and soaking in Australia's wild coastal beauty

Haycock point is worth a visit just by itself for stunning coastal vistas. Or combine the nearby pinnacles walking track and the fantastic walk from haycock to bar mouth beach at Pambula river mouth. Is there a nicer place in the universe?. I don’t know of one. Do a self guided trip or use an experienced local transport service like Paul’s personal transport.

It's a delightful and easy walk from the car park to the view above Haycock Point. However, as there are several tracks converging near the Point, do take care to take the correct track on your return, or your walk may be longer than anticipated. You will find kangaroos, partly hidden in the scrub, watching your progress!

To get here you do need to follow a dirt road in your car however a 4WD is not required! Once you get to the end there is a car park with toilet facilities and you need to follow the walking track which will take you up and over the hill to the Haycock Point which is well worth it! If you then wanted to go further you can continue on and there is a track that takes you to Barmouth Beach (this is marked, you will see the signs along the walk to Haycock Point) We saw loads of wildlife along the way...
